Kartik Nair

Kartik Nair is Assistant Professor of Film Studies at Temple University, where he teaches classes in genre film, the material history of cinema, and the phenomenology of cinematic experience. He is beginning work on a project about the physical infrastructures of contemporary moving images; the research will analyze expressive screen forms as traces of digital editing, motion-control camera, and virtual set extension.
