Rielle Navitski is an Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre and Film Studies at the University of Georgia. She is the author of Transatlantic Cinephilia: Film Culture Between Latin America and France, 1945-1965 (forthcoming 2023) and Public Spectacles of Violence: Sensational Cinema and Journalism in Early Twentieth-Century Mexico and Brazil (2017), and co-editor of Cosmopolitan Film Cultures in Latin America, 1895-1960 (2017) and Latinx Media: An Open-Access Textbook (2022).
